Earthbound (Poet and the Pen) The first line of this song woke me from a dream. My dream-self telling my not-quite-awake self to write this down! We argued but gratefully the next day I found my notes and spent the next few weeks thinking deeply on the subject Earthbound was the end result EARTHBOUND Jim Dixon Pour the poet through the pen. I don’t have wings but I do get high. Stumbling in for one last try. Well look at me I’m up here high staring down before I dive. I can’t fly but, I’ll try again.
