This was taken at a charity poker event where I was scheduled to deal Texas Holdem'. After set up, we generally have some downtime before the start of the event, so I'd occasionally take photos. This was one of the photos I took while waiting for players.
For those who are unaware, Texas Holdem' is played with a "dealer button" (as seen here) which dictates where the play and deal start throughout that round. The blue card you see underneath the button is called the "cut card", which the dealer will use to cover the bottom of the deck to prevent players from seeing the last card. Then you also have the chip stack, which is self-explanatory. In the distance, you see the cards fanned out, which is how we would set up a table before gameplay.
I dealt cards for over twelve years before moving to Florida and COVID changed those opportunities. In other words, I have years of casino photos to share.
