This nudibranch was found on a pipe in Monterey Bay, CA on 2/26/22. Nudibranchs are a group of soft-bodied marine gastropod mollusks which shed their shells after their larval stage. Often, nudibranchs are referred to as sea slugs and there are more than 2,000 species of nudibranchs in the world.
