It’s been days since the event, and the world is descending into chaos. Ten days ago, darkness fell across the world, and people began to disappear. Everyone showed signs of madness—some were terrified, others grew angry and ruthless. We formed a small group of six, believing we had a better chance of surviving together. Yesterday, we sought refuge in the city’s newest hospital, completed just last year. It was the most well-equipped building, so we hoped to find food and supplies. To our dismay, the sight of crumbling rooms greeted us, with blood splattered everywhere. We found no survivors, but claw marks lined the walls. As we opened the door to one of the rooms, our hearts nearly stopped when one of them noticed us.
