T rex Cat GIF It was the early days of tumblr and I was learning how to make GIfs and wanted to have something ridiculous to use as promotion for our shows and parties. I didnt want to use the standard hip hop or music imagery of the time and I wanted to express that our shows are hybrids of genres and welcoming of all types of folks. The internet was in love with dinosaurs and cats.. so I made a version of a chimera and added the 40 oz.. because.. well.. 40ozs were prevalent in Bushwick at the time. The image represents us being rooted in the history of art and music, party animals, that are not really domesticated but you want us around. This NFT is the GIF and the still image.
