Figurka means 'figurine' or 'pawn' in Czech. Remember the quote that says "We are pencils in the hands of the creator"? This piece just explains the quote with a begging question - What if we're pawns in the hands of the creator, and we live as he wants, without us even knowing it? This, and questions about fate, celestial existence, and the true nature of our "freedom of choice" as humans, birthed this beautiful piece. I hope it speaks to you as it does to me.
