Tidswell Studios

Tidswell is a multi-media, multi-instrumentalist, animator, videographer, 2D artist, photographer based in BC, Canada. He received a fine-arts diploma from Emily Carr College of Art and Design, starting first in the animation department and switching to multi-disciplinary. He studied Black and White Photography, slides and sequential dissolve, drawing, 3D computer animation and old-school gel animation. He and his other classmates were into experimental film and video techniques and staged several multi-media melt-downs in the large, bookable video studio and lecture hall. Some of the best stuff created was lost, but the experience was memorable. Tidswell also studied acting and improv comedy with Bonnie Worthington and appears in several movies as an extra. Throughout the last three decades he has played hundreds of live performances on the west coast of USA and Canada as a solo performer and with several bands.
